SHORT-TERM
TRADING ISSUE
July/August, 1993
Special
extended interview with Linda Raschke. Linda was
the only female megatrader to be included by Jack
Schwager in either of his two "market wizards"
books. This exclusive CTCR interview goes into
much greater depth than Jack did in The New Market
Wizards. A number of long-time subscribers called
to say this was our best interview ever. Linda trades
using a number of different methods, but above all
she calls herself a "swing trader." To her,
this means that she tries to capture the two-three-day
natural swings in the market. As she describes them,
"The big guys can't take advantage of it, and
the little guys don't care. It creates a perfect niche
from which to make a living." She tells you in
great detail exactly how she organizes her trading
life and the rules she uses for trading. She's not
afraid of revealing her system. For instance, read
her five concepts to use in establishing an entry
point. Read her five indicators that signal the start
of a trend and find out how they affect her swing
trading methodology. She describes fifteen rules for
swing traders. This is specific stuff! Exit methods
are not left out either. Just as important as specific
trading methods are her psychology and money management
principles. It's all here. Linda earns a good living
trading from her basement. Wouldn't you like to find
out exactly how she does it?
Educational
article by Bruce Babcock entitled, "Commodity
DataIssues and Solutions (Part Two)." This is
a complete discussion of the tricky but crucial issues
involved in collecting and using price data. The first
part appears in the May/June, 1993 issue described
in this brochure.
